Job Objectives and Responsibilities:
1. Financial policy - Assistant controllor Asia to help Chinese entities to establish, implement and maintain financial manual, and ensures that all payments and transactions are handled correctly and comply with legal requirements and procedures of financial manual.
2. Controlling - Periodically analysis the business results, including a special focus on problem areas, Proposes critical actions to management committee and BU management in order to assist them in the dicision making process and enable them to take corrective actions.
3. Reporting and budgeting - Ensure accurate and timely reporting of statutory and financial statements of all entities. - Coordinates and participates in financial planning and budgeting process (X+1 and X+3)
4. External relations - Establishes and maintains relationships with banks, insurance companies, and financial and legal department of the group, to ensure optimal services for the plant. Coordinates with local authorities.
5. Cash management - Reviews periodically the cash forecasts, accounts receivable analysis and debt positions to ensure good unilization of working capital in accordance to group objectives. Reports to senior management.
6. Procedures and systems - Ensures the implementation of adequate control systems for all critical activities of Asia. - Monitors and foloow up regular audits in order to ensure the correct implementaion of defined policies and procedures for all aspects related to internal control develops, implements and maintains financial systems and procedures to be able to provide the best tool to the management of the company i.e. involves in the design of the plant SAP syrcture; coordinate and implementation of SAP.
7. Dept. management(China) - Leads a competent and effective staff by accurate manpower planning and by selecting, training, coaching, motivating, evaluating and rewarding staff to achieve desired objectives.
Job Experience, Competencies & Qualifications:
- Job holder needs to have a university or master degree in finance and accounting - At least 5 years relevant working experience in a manufacturing comapany with minimum 2 years in management position. - Job holder needs to have a working knowledge of local legislation - Job holder needs to have a professional accounting certificate and needs to be knowledgeable about IFRS accounting standards - Job holder needs to have technical know how of cost/price, analysis, administrative organization and manufacturing process - Job holder should have the maturity and authority to report to board level - Good communication and coordination skill and team spirits - Very good English, both oral and written - Very strict in implementaiton of procedures/ethical codes/good colleagueship and conveys this attitude to his/her subordinators - Be eager to learn new things and look for improvements in all aspect related with his/her responsibility
