Job Objectives and Responsibilities:
- To propose, develop, implement and monitor sales objectives consistent with the X+1 targets in order to achieve agreed sales volume, pricing and selling cost objectives, within agreed policies and through focused action programs. - To apply the policies for sales forces including the set-up of an accurate manpower plan, selecting, coaching, target setting and performance evaluation. - Base on the X+1 plans determine for each sales representative for all segments/applications detailed action plans and priorities. Follow up the implementation of these action plans closely. - To provide accurate sales forecasts and planning and regular updates of this forecast and planning in order to contribute the targeted service levels, the optimization of stock levels and the overall supply chain process. - The development of an efficient two way communication system with as main target: 1) from central to sales representatives - To understand the determined stategy concerning markets, products and product applications in order to establish and implement all necessary action plans to support this stategy. 2) from sales representatives to the central organization - Follow up, analyze and understand market evolution, market share and evolution of customer priorities and competition activities and report all relevant information in order to contribute in a pro-active way to the market strategy and to align the long term market strategy with the short term action plans. - To supervise the credit situation of customers and payment conditions and decide upon corrective actions if necessary in order to minimize any financial risk while maintaining optimal client relations with respect of cooperate guidelines. - To implement general selling terms (discounts, payment conditions, delivery conditions…) within agreed procedures and policies. - To develop and maintain ongoing relationship with major customers and potential important accounts. To search in an active way for and develop market opportunities.
Job Experience, Competencies & Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in engineering or marketing - A minimum of 8 to 10 years working experience leading a sales team in a multi-national company and familiar with cross-cultural communications - Good track record of developing new customers and markets - Excellent relationship and people management skills - Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin - Strong analytical skills
