Job Objectives and Responsibilities:

- Working closely with BU Asia/Entity Controller & Internet Audit for continuous improvements of internal control system.
- Working closely with BU Asia/Entity Controllers, internal audit & external auditor on timely / quality closing of accounts on IFRS & CAS.
- Pro-active roles in working with BU Asia/Entity Controllers in compliance of Chinese and international statutory requirements.
- Assistance in establishing procedures and systems necessary to provide adequate financial controls ensuing compliance with policy, IFRS and China reporting standards.
- Assistance in building a smooth communication channel between the Finance and Business Units Finance.
- Assistance in corporate finance ERP/reporting implementation in the region.
- Working hand-in-hand with Treasury, Tax. Credit & Insurance in building a world class Group Service Finance function.
- Support CFO Asia in regional M&A activities.

Job Experience, Competencies & Qualifications:

- 5 to 7 years proven experience spent within a manufacturing environment, including working with either a US or European-based MNC.
- Preview financial or accounting supervision experience is required.
- Must demonstrate an appreciation and knowledge of continuous improvement skills.
- Detailed understanding of accounting processes and methodology is required.
- Proven experience with major financial system (SAP and UF etc.) is desired.
- Have worked in an e-banking environment.
- Professional qualification &/or degree in finance or accounting, plus CPA and IFRS knowledge.
- Good written and verbal demonstration of English and Mandarin.
- Have worked in a corporate /BU matrix environment.
