- Establish SSC & e-banking from scratch. - Work closely with business unit Finance in building a strong shared service team covering all transactional functions, including AR,AP, GL, FA., standard reporting and payroll. - Use objectives and performance measurements tools and develop line managers and the entire team, provides leadership and direction to the team for future development through commitment to the philosophy of continuous improvement, coach and train the team into a world class service organization. - Establish procedures and systems necessary to provide adequate financial controls ensuring compliance with policy, IFRS and China reporting standards. - Ensure a smooth communication channel between the shared service center and business units. - Responsible for an accurate and timely month-end closing for all entities under shared service structure. - Will be responsible for the development of a process for integrating new business into the Shared Service Center. - Assist in the integration for all future acquisitions & JVs in China ( & I future, in the region.) - Assist in the ERP implementation in China ( & I future, in the region.) - Promote the development of associates by encouraging them and providing the means to enhance their technical and professional expertise to stimulate increased effectiveness, productivity, and opportunities for career growth. - Effectively follow the Leadership Standards to create an environment that mobilizes empowered people to achieve business objectives in the shortest period time. - Fulfills Chinese and international statutory requirements. - Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Experience, Competencies & Qualifications:
- Proven track record in establishing SSC from scratch . - At least 10 years of increasingly responsible experience with a majority of the time spent within a manufacturing environment , including working with either a US or European –based MNC. - Previous financial or accounting supervision experience is required. - Must demonstrate an appreciation and knowledge of continuous improvement skills; - Detailed understanding of accounting process and methodology is required; - Proven experience with major financial system (SAP, Oracles, IFS, MFG Pro, and UF etc.) is highly desired required; - Proven experience with financial modeling and ERP implementation; - Proven experience of operating in an e-banking environment; - Professional qualification &/ or degree in finance or accounting, plus CPA or US GPPA and IFRS knowledge; - Excellent written and verbal demonstration of English and Mandarin. Language proficiency in Japanese or other Asia dialects preferred; - Leadership ability and demonstrated “working” functional knowledge of operations, sales finance, quality, procurement and HR activities. - Good knowledge of essential components of internal control operating environment. - An excellent people manager.
