Position Title: EHS Manager
Report to: China EHS Manager Location: Jiangyin(flexible)

Job Objectives and Responsibilities:

-  Responsible for all activities of EHS function in a plant or at a site in company China, including the system establishment, policy implementation
-  General management:
1. Continuously improve the EHS culture, EHS awareness and accountability system;
2. Lead deployment of Plant Risk Assessment and control plans development within a site or plant.
3. Develop and deploy EHS procedures, training, internal and external communications in concert with company China or Group EHS.
4. Direct and support incident investigation activities, root cause analysis, corrective action identification and closure. Works closely with leaders to measure and communicate EHS performance. Monitor trends and champions injury/illness reduction. Direct the organization in management of emergency conditions and containment actions.
5. Lead and participate in EHS inspections, self-assessments and audits. Presents findings to management and prepares applicable reports. Tracks corrective actions to closure.
6. Implements environmental management processes, including management of chemicals/oils, wastes, and pollution prevention.

-  System establishment & audit:
1. Deploy company EHS systems in a plant or site;
2. Conduct periodical EHS audits;
-  legislation compliance
1. Support site management to ensure our practices complying with government laws and regulations

Job Experience, Competencies & Qualifications:

-  Bachelor degree or above, major in industrial, manufacturing, or engineering, industrial hygiene, safety or equivalent.
-  More than 5 years of manufacturing, supervisory and managerial experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management and employee training.
-  Working knowledge of industry/state/local specific environmental, health, and safety requirements.
-  Familiar with ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000.
-  Ability to direct and lead cross-functional process improvement teams.
-  Ability to identify multiple cost effective options to address EHS matters.
-  Experience with communicating with regulatory agencies.
-  Good interpersonal skills.
-  Good English communication skill.
